In response to Joan who is in need of recipes

Here is a basic recipe for a fat free low calorie dish.

Take 1 pound of skin less chicken breast and thighs. Trim all fat from meat.

Place in large pot with with 2 quarts of filtered water, 2 inch piece of peeled ginger, 1 inch piece of tumeric, or 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder, 1 peeled shallot cut in half, 1 scallion sliced from white to green end, 1 stick of lemon grass cut in to 4 pieces, 1/2 cup of cilantro leaves, 1/2 cup of fresh basil leaves, 3 cloves of garlic peeled, 1 carrot sliced, 1 celery stick sliced, 1 teaspoon of sea salt and 1 teaspoon of fresh ground mixed pepper, 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes.

Let this come to a soft boil, immediately turn down heat, cover  and simmer for one hour.

Strain stock in to a  clean pot. Next remove protein and add to pure stock along with 1/2 cup of fresh chopped cilantro and 1/2 cup of fresh chopped basil, cover and let sit for 10 minutes off of the heat. Serve with   steamed non starchy vegetable of your choice.

interesting methods of cooking to infuse flavor in to lean proteins

Hi People. I am still on this 500 calorie a day diet with the hcg drops. I cannot believe I am doing this!! I am such a foodie and cooking is one of my most favorite things to do. I need to enjoy my food when I eat. That is why I could not follow a plan with prepackaged food. My husband and I were on a romantic trip in Venice a few  years ago and  ate an amazing dinner one evening at a boutique hotel that we love . The handsome chef did something unusual in my opinion.  He  steamed venison with 9 herbs. I thought the venison would look unappealing, taste strange and have a rubbery texture. Quite the contrary. The chef wowed us with this dish. It was extrordinary and yet so simple.  

I am continuing to be adventurous with my cooking methods during this lean phase of my eating plan.  I get bored easily so I have to keep coming up with a different method of infusing flavor in to my tiny bits of protein and veggies.

Try using the Venetian chef’s method of steaming  proteins with the herbs and see if you like it. It is  another way of cooking without oil to infuse fantastic and fanciful flavor.

Also, cooking with love makes a big difference too. xo

I have lost a pound a day for the last few days.

I am on the hcg diet and am restricted to 500 calories a day. I have been cooking Thai food to make this very delicious and interesting. Tonight I made boneless chicken thighs that were trimmed of all fat. I cooked them over medium heat for 2 hours with fresh garlic, lemon grass, celery, carrots, fresh ginger and fresh tumeric, cilantro including the stems, basil, parsley, jalepeno pepper, sea salt in a couple of quarts of water. It was so tender and full of fabulous flavor. I topped it off with the juice of 1 lime and the rind as well.  The trick is to have all of the ingredients handy. The prep time only took me 5 minutes. I have 2 meals out of this and it cost me $19.oo in total.

Has anyone heard of the Hcg diet plan?

OK, as you all may know by now, I am a foodie!! I love to cook and bake for my husband and my staff. To me it is a way to show them how special they are to me and how grateful I am for all that they do for me in my life!! BUT, enough is enough!!  For the last 13 years I have said no to countless invitations to events, yachts, or any vacation where I have to show skin, black tie affairs, parties etc. because at my height I am way too heavy to look good in clothes or without them too. I have already  lost 2 pounds a day on this plan.

I am just under 5′ 4″ tall.  The only way I look good is thin. I love spin class, Pilates, yoga and Power Plate but it was not enough to shed the pounds becauseI was consuming more calories than I was burning evidently.  I started the Hcg plan on Saturday of last week. I did as I was told and pigged out for the first 2 days, then started the 500 calorie a day diet on Monday of this week. Already I have lost 6 pounds. I have so much energy it is frightening, and I am not hungry at all.  If anyone needs help with this type of restricted eating plan, please reach out to me because I can give you recipes to help you get through it. Please consult your physician before you embark on this plan though.  You have to avoid dairy, any fats at all, so no nuts or seeds as well as sugar or any type of grains. Even though it seems extreme, you can still eat fairly well. And trust me, yesterday I had the day off  and I cooked all day and had no desire at all to even taste what I was cooking. I am leaving for CA tomorrow morning and hate to waste food. So I cook and bake to get rid of ingredients in my refrigerator that won’t last until I return. Even though I cooked incredible food all afternoon and watched the cooking channel, I still was not hungry at all. Let’s face it, food will always be very important in my life and I want to be able to be around it and not be tempted to eat the foods that I should not eat. After I finish my 46 days on the Hcg diet plan, I go off of the Hcg drops and increase my calories to 1000 per day but still avoid sugar, dairy and wine.  At that point my hypothalamus will register my new body weight as my NORMAL weight and will keep me at this weight unless I really go back to my very guilty pleasures like cheese in excess and wine as well. If I can help anyone, please let me know. I have struggled with this daily because my childhood was not disciplined as far as eating was concerned. Had I avoided sugary cereals, sweetened milk, candy, and processed foods, I would not have the amount of fat cells that I currently have in my body.  By the time I was 6 years old I was predisposed to being too heavy because my diet was full of fat and sugar. My parents did not know any better, God bless them!!!  But, once I remove the excess fat with the Hcg plan, then my body won’t gain weight as easily, unless I blow it for a long period of time. Which I have NO intention of doing.

 Mothers, be ware, don’t give your kids junk food, sugar, soda, or processed foods. They will struggle all their lives if you do. If you need help with recipes or a diet plan, please ask me for help. I would love to help you.  Thanks for reading this. Be well.  xoxoxoxo

gum disease is now linked to breast cancer as well as heart disease and stomach ulcers and cancers

Hello Lovely Ladies, not only is gum disease responsible for certain heart diseases, it is also linked to stomach ulcers and cancer and now breast cancer as well. I have always maintained that it is responsible for many skin conditions! I use vanity as a way in to peoples consciousness to get them to take better care of themselves.  If people would just follow my book and start their day the way I suggest, not only will they have radiant youthful skin, but more importantly, they can avoid life threatening disease as well. Get on the band wagon. Let your friends and family know that first thing in the morning, you must brush your teeth thoroughly, preferably with an electric toothbrush, scrap your tongue very well, and complete your oral hygiene with a thorough mouth rinse as well. I also use a water pik that has warm water infused with sea salt and peroxide. Flossing is important once a day as well. Please don’t forget to do this. Sometimes the simplest things can save our lives. Pass it on ladies!!!!

Algae deep cleanse gets rid of ingrown hair

Hello People, I just want everyone to know that a client of mine told me that her boyfriend and his son got rid of their ingrown hair on their neck with the use of the ALGAE DEEP CLEANSE.
