This is a sad day!

I woke up to a cool, dark rainy day in Manhattan this morning only to find out about the shooting in Colorado. It makes me so very sad. I pray for people’s consciousness to be awakened and their search for the discovery of God within them starts calling. This would prevent such horrific acts of violence. I pray for the victims and their families.

Thank GOD for the angels who figured out how to make our favorite breads, English muffins and bagels all from gluten free flour. Now we really can have our cake and eat it too. You won’t be dissappointed. They are truly delicious and upset or bloat you.

New recipe’s for fat free burgers

Hi People, as you know I LOVE to cook and bake. Ever since I started with HCG over a year ago, my relationship with food has changed. Now, I look for different ways to get flavor infused in to food without loading up on fats, sugar and extra calories that I don’t need. The following burger recipe is case in point. Try this, you will love it!!!

1 pound of fresh ground chicken breast
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of ground corriander
1 tablespoon of chopped cilatro
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
1 minced seeded and deveined jalepaneo pepper
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of minced ginger
1 teaspoon of fresh grated lime zest
1/2 cup of rice wine or apple cider vinegar

Mix all ingredients together. Chill for 1/2 hour or longer covered in the refrigerator. Form mixture in to patties. Heat heavy bottom frying pan to a high heat. Place patties in pan. Don’t touch them for at least 4 minutes. Reduce heat to medium high as soon as all patties are place in pan. Cover for the first 4 minutes. When patties are ready they will release easily from the bottom of the pan. If they are stuck, don’t turn them till they loosen up. When all patties are turned sear on that side for a few minutes. Add 1/2 cup of apple cider or rice wine vinegar to pan and cover and simmer until vinegar is reduced. Rest for 5 minutes and serve with salad. You can substitute any meat for these patties.

Summer recipes

I love preparing food in the summer. It is the easiest time of year to incorporate a large variety of gorgeous fruits and veggies in to your diet. I love this antioxidant salad that I make for breakfast for my husband and I.
Sometimes I serve it for desert when I have friends over. They love it.

1 cup raspberries
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 large pink lady apple cored and cubed
1 pink grapefruit sliced in to supremes
1 large orange sliced in to supremes
1 cup chopped ripe pineapple
1 cup of toasted unsweetened coconut infused with 1 teaspoon of ground cardamon
1/2 cup chopped fresh pistachio nuts
1 cup of grapefruit juice
1 cup of orange juice
5 beautiful mint leafs

To toast coconut and pistachio’s , spread on to baking pan. Bake in preheated over at 375 degrees for 5 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Sprinkle with cardamom while cooling in pan.

Mix all ingredients together in a large chilled serving bowl. Garnish with fresh mint. Chill for 1/2 hour before serving.
I like to serve this over O fat Greek yogurt for a treat.
This salad is filled with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Your skin will glow from this recipe. Try it!!

Don’t forget to eat your apple a day

Hi Everybody. Even though it is summer and more interesting seasonal fruits may catch your eye, it is still ONE of the fruits you should consume on a daily basis. There are so many wonderful varieties. Be experimetal. They satisfy my appetite keeping hunger at bay, and give me a great source of fiber daily. I consider apples as valuable as berries in your daily diet. Eating them also indirectly helps minimize your pores because apples help clean your colon and liver. Eating an apple a day, or more if you want, will definitely help keep you healthier than someone snacking on junk food. xoxoxo

Tonight CBS is having a special report on the healing benefits of seaweed. I have been working with seaweed for over 30 years. It is one of the most powerful plants on the planet. The health and beauty benefits are amazing which is why I use them in almost every one of my products. I attribute my youthful skin to my use of seaweed for over 30 years on my own skin. Eating it is very rejuvenating. It gives you thick skin, is slimming, and gives you tons of energy as well. It must be used in its pure form. I started having my products made for me in Brittany France in the early 80’s. I went to the lab when I was young and found seaweed hanging from the ceiling of these large airplane hangers that were part of my laboratory. It would just wash up on shore and would be harvested all year long. The manufacturer that I was working with made all kinds of products with it. It is even a very powerful fertilizer for plants and all types of vegetation. It is about time America embraces seaweed. The French have been using it forever. It is one of the reasons why French women are so skinny. They even drink the extract. And it is the reason why Japanese woman have such thick skin. It is a staple in their everyday diet.
