5 Tips for Weight Loss and Healthy Skin

People are always looking for the best diets and ways to lose weight; it seems like crazy new diet trends are coming out all the time. The truth is, it’s not rocket science and it’s not a secret. Here are my simple tips to help your body and skin become healthier:

1. Drink 1/2 ounce of water per pound that you weigh every day. This will help flush toxins from your system and jump-start weight loss.

2. Do not eat after 8:00 p.m. Eating after 8:00 p.m. inhibits digestion and causes weight gain, cellulite, skin disorders and a compromised immune system.

3. Eat an apple a day. Apples curb your appetite and contain the fiber necessary for proper bowel elimination.

4. Eat 5 times a day – 3 fairly small meals per day and 2 snacks. Apples and celery are great snacks that are low-glycemic foods and are very filling.

5. Avoid eating sugar, corn, wheat, cow dairy (this includes yogurt), alcohol, processed foods and excess salt. These foods not only cause bloating, but also cause blemishes and breakouts.

If you follow these tips you will never have a weight problem or have to ‘diet’ again.
