The Anti-aging Skincare Treatment for Men Using Skincare Masks.
Masks are the quickest and easiest way to give your skin a boost, or rapidly heal blemishes and pimples. When I first started giving Al Pacino facials everyone thought he had a facelift. Masks are a way to give you maximum results with minimal effort. So, as a man who cares about your appearance and want to look good as you age, here are a few tips you should follow.
You don’t have to be a superstar with a team of people to get you looking your best. Women have used facial masks for centuries to improve their appearance. Men are now feeling comfortable enough to start taking that extra step. If you want to maintain that handsome appearance for whatever reason, you need to know how to use one of the best-kept secrets among the best-looking men in the world.
What is a Skincare Facial Mask?
A Skin care mask is a product that contains ingredients to be applied to the skin for a minimal amount of time, then removed. They are used at home to help keep you looking younger by tightening and toning your skin, giving you a healthy glow and making you look more radiant. They also are perfect for treating blackheads, blemishes and acne breakouts.
Using masks once or twice a week all over your face and neck has its instant rewards. However, if you are broken out, you can sleep with a dab of a clay based mask on blemishes to help them heal overnight.
A holistic approach to health and beauty is the best way to get to the root of the problem, but masks used regularly will always give your skin an amazing look.
Proper diet and exercise. Eat right! Don't fill your system with processed foods full of sugar, saturated fats, dyes, and preservatives. If you do, your body will be full of unhealthy toxins that wreak havoc on your immune system and therefore your skin.
Rest & Stress Reduction. The stress levels in your body have a major impact on your level of health and happiness, and that becomes evident when you see the quality of your skin, as well as your energy levels, moods and disposition. Worry and stress causes breakouts, can lead to unhealthy escapism, and can make you be drawn to junk food and other unhealthy habits. I highly recommend adopting meditation practices, deep breathing techniques, long walks in nature, taking calming baths, and practicing mindfulness and positive thinking.
- Generous Hydration for Your Body. Water is the most important thing to support life. Your body is made mostly of water. To maintain health, drink 1/2 ounce of pure water per pound that you weigh. This will even improve brain function. Your cells need water and your brain will function better if you are well hydrated.
What is the best Facial Mask for men?
I created masks with different skin types in mind:
- Hydrating Gel Mask for dry skin,
- Sea Clay Mask for normal to oily skin, and
Pore Minimizing Mask for problematic skin with blemishes and breakouts.
However, before you apply your mask, you need to cleanse your skin properly. I recommend my Cleansing Gel. It is super concentrated and helps to effectively cleanse your skin without leaving a residue which prepares your skin for the mask.
After cleansing, pat your skin dry with a clean towel.
Tone and refine your pores by applying either the Sea Clay Mask or Pore Minimizing Mask in the palm of your hand. Spray it with my Seawater, and also spray your face as well for even distribution. Blend the seawater into the mask. Then apply all over face and neck. Avoid eye area. Leave on for 15 minutes.
- Remove with warm damp washcloth. Then rinse with cool water. Pat dry and follow with the rest of your skin care regimen.
